Masterskill Education Group Berhad (MEGB) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Act on 11 September 2006 as a private limited company under the name of Biogem Development Sdn Bhd. On 7 December 2007, the Company changed its name to Masterskill Education Group Sdn Bhd. On 18 July 2008, the Company was converted into a public limited company and assumed its present name.
The principal activities of the company are investment holding and the provision of management services while the Group is principally engaged in the provision of higher education and allied health science. The mission of the company is to develop skilled professionals for the fields of nursing and allied health.
The institution, based in Cheras, Malaysia, is principally engaged in the provision of higher education and training services in the Asia Pacific region. It was founded in 1997, through the incorporation of Masterskill Training Sdn Bhd with the intention of providing nursing and allied health education for the national and international healthcare industry.
The institution is a leading provider of nursing and allied health education in Malaysia. It is the first educational institution in the region to have garnered approximately 30 awards and recognitions in a short span of time. It has 12,000 students from 13 academic programmes at its newly upgraded University College in Cheras and an additional 3,000 students at its three new branches, making it the largest combined nursing and allied health educational institution in Malaysia as well as in the Asia Pacific region.
The institution aims to be the leader in the field of health sciences globally. Its mission is to bridge the global human capital needs in health sciences by focusing on excellence in teaching, research, innovation and consultancy.
